Wavin Tigris K5 and M5 press fittings are designed and developed for easy installation, optimized flow performance, and the system "whistles" at unpressed joints. Tigris K5 and M5 are tested to meet the conditions for transporting water for 50 years at a temperature of 20° C and an operating pressure of 10 bar. M5 is made of dezincification-resistant brass with press sleeves of stainless steel and is available in dimensions from 16 to 40mm. The range is tested in accordance with EN-ISO 21003. Tigris K5/M5 is designed to deliver optimized "flow performance," as the Tigris 5 series has increased the internal pipe diameter by up to 50%. Tigris K5 and M5 guarantee secure connections using the most common press profiles on the market; U, Up, H, TH, and B profiles. MAKES SOUND AT UNPRESSED JOINTS. If a joint is not pressed correctly, Tigris K5 and M5 make noise during a leak test performed with compressed air. This ensures the installer can quickly find the unpressed joint.
