JIP-MM is a shut-off valve with socket ends. The ball valve can be supplied with T-handle in DN 15-25, hexagon in DN 15-50, or handle in DN 15-50. The ball valve is specially designed for district heating systems and other hot water systems where the water is treated to prevent corrosion. Additionally, the ball valves are also suitable for cooling systems. Danfoss JIP ball valve on/off designed for district heating and closed systems NOTE: We (Ahlsell) recommend that the ball valve be fully opened and closed every three months.
