Oil seal rings, also known as oil seals, packings, simmer rings, etc. Oil seal ring type OAS in NBR-70 (black) is a standard oil seal ring consisting of a rubber-coated metal housing and a sealing lip with a spring. The OAS type has an extra protective dust lip, which shields the primary sealing lip from external contamination. The spring is made of regular unalloyed spring steel. The oil seal ring is developed to seal grease, oil, and water against rotating parts. A standard oil seal ring is developed to operate at a max pressure of 0.5 bar.
