Oil seals, also known as oil seals, gaskets, simmer rings, etc. Oil seal type OAS in FP-75 (brown) is an oil seal consisting of a rubber-coated metal housing and a sealing lip with a spring. The OAS type has an additional protective dust lip that protects the primary sealing lip from contamination from outside. FP material can be used at high temperatures, high speed, and in more aggressive media compared to NBR material. The spring is made of stainless steel (SAE 304). The oil seal is designed to seal grease, oil and water against rotating parts. A standard oil seal is designed to operate at a max. pressure of 0.5 bar.
