VA V-ring nitril

The V-ring is a fully molded rubber seal that is mounted directly on a shaft. The V-ring seals axially against a counterface, thus preventing the ingress of dirt and dust as well as oil and water from the outside. Since the V-ring rotates with the shaft, it functions both as a seal and as a slinger at the same time. The V-ring is normally manufactured in NBR and consists of a body and a conical elastic lip, making it capable of sealing even with greater misalignments and eccentricity. The V-ring can be mounted on unmachined shafts, while the counterface, against which the lip seals, must be smooth and without sharp edges.
