Description

OK Autrod 5356 (formerly 18.15) is a solid wire for MIG welding seawater-resistant aluminum alloys with up to 5% magnesium. Welding instructions: OK Autrod 5356 is welded with direct current (+ pol). The surfaces to be welded must be metallically clean. Preferably, welding should be done within one hour after surface processing. Use stainless tools (steel brushes, etc.) whenever possible. Use pure Argon or Ar/He mixture (I1-I3) as shielding gas. Example of corresponding filler materials TIG: OK Tigrod 5356 (18.15). Welding current DC(+).
