Esab OK 63.30 Electrode

OK 63.30 is a rutile-coated electrode that deposits a metal of the 18.5/12.5 type with 3% molybdenum and a low carbon content (approx. 0.03%). The electrode is alloyed such that the ferrite content in the weld metal is approx. 6%, which provides high resistance to hot cracking. Application area: This electrode is intended for welding austenitic 18/8 steels with 3% molybdenum - the so-called acid-resistant types, both low carbon content types and stabilized types, when there is no requirement for full creep strength. Furthermore, the electrode can usually be recommended for stainless steels where type OK 61.30 is recommended. OK 63.30 can also be used for welding air-hardening tool steels and for joining austenitic manganese steel.
