1.By participating in competitions, regardless of form or type, you accept these general competition terms upon your entry. This includes Ahlsell collecting and processing the information you provide about yourself in connection with your participation in order to manage the competition. The personal information we process in this context includes your first and last name, workplace, email, and phone number. You can read more about our processing of your personal data below in our Privacy Policy.
2.Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash, vouchers, or other goods. The winner must collect the prize at the store hosting the respective competition.
3.To participate in the competition, you must reside in Denmark and be at least 18 years old. The company you work for must be registered in Denmark. Only individuals employed by our business customers may participate in the competitions.
4.If the prize exceeds a value of 750 DKK, tax must be paid on the prize. The tax is calculated on the part of the prize's market value that exceeds 750 DKK. It is the winner's responsibility to report the prize to the tax authorities. Therefore, Ahlsell takes no responsibility for any consequences that failure to report may have for the winner.
5.We reserve the right for prizes to vary in color, size, and patterns from images found in Ahlsell's stores and on our website and Facebook.
6.You may only participate once per competition, and regardless of the number of draws, you can only redeem one prize.
7.Employees of Ahlsell Denmark or any of its affiliated companies may not participate. Ahlsell Denmark reserves the right not to award a prize (and to select another winner) if there is suspicion of fraud or circumvention of the competition rules. This decision is solely based on Ahlsell Denmark's assessment. The same applies to whether a participant can be disqualified from the competition.
8. Ahlsell Denmark takes no responsibility for loss, illegible, damaged, misaddressed, stolen, inaccurate, or incomplete competition information. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ahlsell Denmark reserves the right to suspend the competition or change the applicable rules at any time without specifying any reason and without prior notice. This excludes obligations related to the Personal Data Act and incidents under the General Data Protection Regulation.
9.In the event of a dispute regarding rules, conduct, results, and other matters related to the competition, Ahlsell Denmark reserves the right to make a final decision, without obligation to notify or inform participants or open a dialogue about it. This excludes legal issues regarding the processing of your personal information.
10.The winner will be contacted directly as soon as possible after the competition has concluded, and no later than 2 weeks after the competition ends. The winner may be announced by first and last name on the Facebook page of the store hosting the competition. If the winner does not respond within 14 days, Ahlsell Denmark reserves the right to appoint a new winner in the competition. Facebook competitions are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook.
11.By participating in the competition, you agree to comply with the above competition terms.
