Description

Hot water tank specially for bio-fuel with 3/4" coil at the bottom and electric heating element at the top. What distinguishes this tank type from "normal" Combi water heaters is that the auxiliary heat from the electric heating element is only delivered at the top of the tank. This results in a desired thermal stratification in the tank, so that the top maintains the desired domestic water temperature, while the bottom is kept at a lower temperature. The coil at the bottom of the tank can therefore be used for heating domestic water, via a heat source with a lower feed temperature. At the same time, the lower temperature in the bottom of the tank results in better cooling of the heating medium, which can be an important parameter for several plant types. This tank type is therefore a good solution in connection with, e.g., bio-fuel and solar heating systems.
