Loctite 5070 Pipe Repair Kit

LOCTITE® Pipe Repair Kit is recommended for reliable, temporary repair of metal, plastic, and composite pipes. It includes a urethane-impregnated fiberglass tape. Designed for on-the-spot pipe repair in a few minutes without tools and specialized training. The urethane-impregnated fiberglass tape is water-activated and applied by wrapping the damaged area like a bandage. The material cures in about 30 minutes to a durable finish. Included in the LOCTITE® Pipe Repair Kit is a one-time package of Loctite® Metal Magic Steel to fill holes and cracks before wrapping with fiberglass tape. When used together, the fiberglass tape and epoxy stick provide reliable and quick repair of the pipe system. Typical applications are sealing cracked castings, tanks, vessels, valves, and pipes. It also repairs pipe joints, containers, joints, and bends. LOCTITE® Pipe Repair Kit should not be used on pipe systems carrying caustic, hazardous, or other harmful materials. This product can typically be used in applications where there is an operating temperature between -29 °C to +121 °C.
