Loctite 278 is a green, strong, medium-viscosity, methacrylate-based threadlocker. Typical fixture times are 20 min on steel, 20 min on brass, and 60 min on stainless steel. Suitable for applications where adhesive migration must be prevented. Withstands slight contamination with industrial oils. High temperature resistance. Medium viscosity. Breakaway torque on M10 threads 42 Nm. Prevents unintended movement, loosening, leakage, and corrosion. Vibration-resistant. High strength and high temperature resistance.
