The main ingredient in ProLan is Lanolin, which is naturally refined wool grease. ProLan prevents oxidation and salt crystallization while being resistant to certain mineral acids, salts, and sulfo products. One of the things that particularly distinguishes ProLan from other lubricants is that the product does not evaporate or can be readily washed off. The durability of the protection provided is therefore very durable - even within many different areas of application. The product penetrates rust and protects metal as well as metal alloys from further corrosion. NSF H1 food-grade approved.
