HeatCom Alumat 80W/m Underfloor heating mat

Environmentally adapted heating mat specially designed for wood, parquet, and laminate floors. AluMat is only 2 mm high and can be laid on an existing stable subfloor directly under the new floor. We recommend installing a 3 mm flxboard under AluMat to correct minor unevennesses from the subfloor. Flxboard also functions as extra insulation, impact sound reduction, and protection of the heating mat against floor pressure. The fiberglass-reinforced aluminum foil distributes heat evenly across the floor and also functions as the product’s grounding. The heating mat is equipped with a heating cable with a diameter of just 1.2 mm, resulting in a finished installation height of around 5 mm when AluMat is mounted with a 3 mm reflector board at the bottom. AluMat is ideal for renovation tasks that require low construction height and is the easiest way to install underfloor heating under "soft" floor types. There are 3 power classes to choose from, taking into account the total insulation level and current heating needs of the room. When selecting a thermostat to control AluMat, we recommend choosing a type with a built-in temperature limiter set to max. 27°C according to floor manufacturers' recommendations. This eliminates potential risks of damaging the flooring due to rapid heating and excessive temperatures.
