Description
Harmony SSL is a series of narrow Solid State relays for applications requiring frequent switching or high frequency. As the relays do not contain moving parts, there is thus no mechanical wear, providing a very long lifespan. When selecting a Solid State Relay, it is important to start from the desired load type (AC or DC) and then choose the supply voltage. Harmony SSL can be obtained with either screw terminals or spring terminals and all sockets have built-in holding clamps and LEDs. The narrow width of only 6.2 mm means that valuable space on the DIN rail is not occupied, and it is possible to loop up to 20 relays together. SSL1D101BDPV is a complete Solid State Relay mounted in a relay socket with screw terminals. The relay has a 1-48 VDC output (NO) with a maximum load of 0.1A. (at < 40°C.) Note that when the ambient temperature is higher than 40°C, the maximum load must be reduced (see curve in the datasheet). The supply voltage to the relay can be 16-30 VDC. SSL1D101BDPV is a Solid State Relay with transistor output for switching low DC loads, making it suitable for galvanic separation of control signals to a PLC. The relay has a minimum load of 1 mA. and an engagement time of 0.2 ms and a release time of 0.13 ms. As this is a semiconductor relay, short-circuit protection of the relay must be provided accordingly. SSL1D101BDPV can handle a maximum energy slip of 0.3A in 10ms. The SSL series has UL and CSA approval for use in the USA and Canada. NOTE: The Solid State Relay cannot be used for switching DC loads.
