Schneider ZB5 Push Button Head with spring-return

Harmony XB5/ZB5 pushbuttons are designed for mounting on the front of a machine, panel front, or in a pushbutton box. The pushbuttons mount simply into a 22 mm hole and are easy to install, as the heads do not fall out once inserted into the hole. The lock ring on the back is easily secured with the assembly tool (ZB5AZ905) after which the body (ZB5AZ009) clicks onto the head. Contact elements and possibly light modules are mounted on the back of the body and up to 9 modules in total can be mounted on a pushbutton (depending on model). The plastic series is robust and can be used in a wide range of industries, including the food industry, where it is resistant to cleaning agents. The enclosure class is IP66, IP67, IP69 (ISO), and IP69K (DIN) and the pushbuttons can also be used in temperature ranges from -40 to 70 degrees Celsius. ZB5AA245 is a plastic pushbutton head with spring-return and a flat push surface in black color. The pushbutton head has a white 'T' marked on the push surface and is primarily used for JOG functions. A loose body (ZB5AZ009) and separate contact elements (ZBE101 or ZBE102) are used depending on whether a closing or breaking function is desired. It is also possible to use the complete bodies with contact elements pre-installed (ZB5AZ1xx). If the head is used in an XALD box, ZB5AZ009 can be omitted and ZENLxxxx contact elements for base mounting used. For marking, ZBYxxxx label holders with blank labels for individual marking are used. Additionally, it is possible to design your own markings on loose plates with Harmony design software.
