Harmony wireless and battery-less push-buttons offer mobility and savings for installation at the same time. The system consists of a transmitter and a receiver that communicate on a 2.4 GHz ZigBee Green Power protocol. With the increasing number of push-buttons and sensors in the wireless ecosystem, it has never been easier to add wireless products to your EcoStuxure solution without changing the original installation. It is possible to choose either a stand-alone solution or connection directly to a PLC or IPC (e.g., Harmony Edge Box) through the access point, Harmony Hub. The wireless push-buttons have a general range of up to 100 meters between transmitter and receiver when there is open air between the two components. When placing the receiver in a panel or metal enclosure, the range is around 25 meters, but it can easily be increased by using the active antenna ZBRA1. ZBRTC2 is a self-powered clamp-on current transformer for use with a Harmony Hub. The measurement range can be between 2.5A and 180A with a maximum voltage of 600 VAC. The sensor can be used on wires with a diameter of up to Ø24 mm and can be mounted without using tools. It has a measurement accuracy of +/- 2.5% FSD (Full Scale Deflection). The measurement frequency depends on the current level being measured and varies from 0.3 sec @ 180A to 30 sec @ 2.5A. The sensor can be used in an ambient temperature of -25-60°C and has an IP40 enclosure.
