In addition to the well-known ALPHA2 operational advantages, it also offers a couple of new features. One new feature is a startup function, which means that the ALPHA2 literally shakes off deposits that can occur after long periods of inactivity, such as during vacations. The new ALPHA2 is designed with vacationers in mind, featuring a new Summer function that also protects the pump and components from deposits during periods of inactivity. Another new feature is dry-running protection, which ensures the pump only operates when there is water in the pump housing.
