Description
The base material in 16020 consists of 6 - 9 micron E and C glass fiber threads that are textured. The product is inorganic, sterile, fire-resistant, completely asbestos-free, contains no toxins or heavy metals. 16020 is a soft braided glass fiber packing. The packing consists of a surface braided of E-glass and a core of C-glass. This construction provides a spongy packing that seals tightly against the contact surface.
