DAFA Difoil Vapor Barrier Film

DAFA DiFoil vapor barrier film is a diffusion-open vapor barrier used to prevent rot, mold, and mildew growth primarily in exterior walls and ceiling constructions. The vapor barrier allows periodically occurring condensation to travel from one side of the film to the other, while still being tight enough to restrain normal vapor pressure. Use the vapor barrier on thermal insulated building parts where there is a risk of summer condensation or other moisture on the exterior side of the vapor barrier. For example, well-insulated constructions exposed to direct sun in summer can achieve such a large temperature difference from outside to inside that there is a risk of condensation on the vapor barrier. This is typically observed in summer houses that remain unoccupied for periods. DiFoil can be taped on both sides with DAFA UV tape. For other tapes, it is recommended to tape on the smooth side, opposite the text side. DAFA DiFoil vapor barrier film consists of Polyethylene (PE) material coated with moisture-absorbing Polypropylene (PP) fleece.
