The VHL slat hood is specially developed to create a visually correct termination of air intake and discharge on the roof. The slat hood is delivered as standard in a galvanized version but can also be supplied with black powder coating. To achieve a harmonious transition from pipe to hood, a pipe or a roof penetration (e.g., GISOL or GISOLP) can be chosen with a dimension corresponding to ØD. Under the roof, the pipe can potentially be reduced to Ød1 (see mounting proposal 1). However, the slat hood can also be directly mounted on pipes with diameter Ød1 (see mounting proposal 2).
