POM-C is characterized by its rigidity, strength, and hardness, as well as dimensional stability at high temperatures. Due to its high hardness and smooth surface, POM-C possesses good sliding and wear properties, along with good chemical resistance. POM-C can be used for precision mechanical parts such as gears and slide bearings. POM-C is very stable and therefore easy to machine (chip removing). Temperature range for use: -60°C to around +100°C. Working with foodstuffs? POM-C is available in food-grade quality. A certificate can be issued upon request, confirming the suitability of the material for food contact. This requires the production number, which is stamped on each item.
