A nitrile rubber sealing ring guarantees a perfect seal between the standard O.D. hose and the fitting's body. Standard hoses combined with the Festo push-in connector are suitable for compressed air and vacuum. All brass parts on push-in fittings from Festo have nickel-plated surfaces, hence they are highly resistant to corrosion. The conical ISO R threads have a self-sealing PTFE coating, allowing the fitting to be reused up to five times without the need for additional sealing components. It can be rotated after being installed.
