A nitrile rubber o-ring guarantees a perfect seal between the standard O.D. tube and the fitting body. Standard tubes combined with Festo push-in connector are suitable for compressed air and vacuum. All brass parts on push-in fittings from Festo have nickel-plated surfaces and are thus highly resistant to corrosion. The tapered ISO R-threads have a self-sealing PTFE coating, allowing the fitting to be reused up to five times without requiring additional sealing components. It can be rotated once installed.
