Oil sealing rings, also known as oil seals, packings, simmerrings, etc. Oil seal ring type OAS in NBR-70 (black) is a standard oil seal ring, consisting of a rubber-coated metal housing and a sealing lip with a spring. The OAS type has an additional protective dust lip that shields the primary sealing lip from contamination from outside. The spring is made of standard unalloyed spring steel. The oil seal ring is designed to seal against grease, oil, and water from rotating parts. A standard oil seal ring is designed to operate at a max. pressure of 0.5 bar.
