O-ring cord is primarily used for special dimensions or as a replacement for delivery of standard O-rings, which must first be ordered and therefore cannot be delivered immediately. For special dimensions, O-ring cord has a clear advantage as the application can be individually adapted to the specific solution. At the same time, this is a relatively inexpensive solution. O-ring cord should only be used for static solutions. O-rings come in various materials, allowing adaptation of the O-ring to the specific task. The NBR type is not suitable for outdoor use where they are exposed to ozone and UV radiation.
