SKF bearings with the suffix W64 and W64F are bearings with Solid Oil. Solid Oil means that the lubricant is encapsulated in a polymer matrix of plastic. This means that bearings with Solid Oil are resistant to washout. The lubricant cannot be washed out during cleaning! W64 is the standard version with blue polymer, and W64F is the food-grade version in white polymer. The white one comes with a food-certified lubricant (NSF H1). Besides having Solid Oil, the bearings in this series come with an integrated seal for improved protection against contamination.
