SKF's blue Food Line series are bearing units with stainless steel bearings and plastic housings. The series is specially designed for the food industry, meeting all hygiene and food safety requirements. The bearings are lubricated for life and feature a newly developed effective seal. This and the overall design of the housing make it withstand frequent washing. The materials used comply with EC and FDA regulations concerning components approved for use in food production. A grease approved for incidental food contact is used. A grease registered with NSF with an H1 classification. Increased food safety, better performance and longer life, lower maintenance and lubrication costs, reduces environmental impact. The seals keep water and contamination out of the bearing and keep the lubricant inside. This version is without front cover and rear seal.
