Explorer quality means the bearing is produced in the best steel quality and developed to better withstand wear, thereby achieving a longer lifespan compared to other spherical roller bearings. Spherical roller bearings are self-aligning and therefore not affected by minor misalignments on the shaft (shaft misalignments are absorbed). Spherical roller bearings are also available as vibration bearings (VA405 and VA406).
