Explorer quality means that the bearing is produced with the best steel quality and developed to better withstand wear, thus achieving a longer lifespan compared to other spherical roller bearings. Spherical roller bearings are self-aligning and therefore not affected by minor misalignments of the shaft (shaft misalignments are accommodated). Spherical roller bearings can also be made as vibration bearings (VA405 and VA406).
