High-quality spherical roller bearing from SKF in an open version. Spherical roller bearings from SKF are made in Explorer quality. Explorer quality means that the bearing is produced in the best steel quality and developed to better withstand wear and thus achieve a longer service life compared to other spherical roller bearings. Spherical roller bearings are self-aligning and therefore not affected by minor misalignments on the axle (shaft misalignments are compensated). Spherical roller bearings can also be supplied as vibration bearings (VA405 and VA406). Available with cylindrical or tapered bore, depending on the desired assembly method. - Made from a robust and upgraded pure steel quality - An advanced heat treatment process makes the bearings more heat resistant. I.e. the bearings run cooler and the service life is extended.
