3M™ Silver cutting disc is designed to deliver an outstanding combination of performance and value. It cuts quickly through metal pipes, sheets, and profiles in a range of materials, such as carbon steel and stainless steel. The durable cutting disc uses precision-shaped grains to deliver a fast and consistent cut. The precision-shaped grains break into new, super-sharp points and edges on impact, cutting clean through metal instead of grinding and plowing through like traditional abrasives. This helps it last significantly longer than conventional abrasive products with ceramic grains, while maintaining a high cutting speed throughout its lifespan. The disc must have a maximum operating speed at least equal to the maximum speed of the used angle grinder. It must be mounted on a cutting tool and for safety reasons, you should always use it on a tool with an approved guard according to DIN EN 12413 for bonded abrasives.
