Rems M Press Ring "S" (PR-2B)

REMS press ring type S (PR-2B) – Now infinitely rotatable. Solution for difficult-to-access places, e.g., installation setups, exposed pipes, shafts. Available in several relevant profiles. Highly durable press rings made from tough, hard, specially hardened special steel. Press contours from REMS press tongs/rings are system-specific and correspond to the press contours for the respective press fitting systems. The press ring's press jaws with press contour are precisely and accurately machine-rounded on CNC processing centers. Thus, there are low manufacturing tolerances. Traceability according to EN 1775:2007 The pressing jaw has a specific marking inserted, which leaves a permanent imprint directly on the pressed fitting after pressing. This allows the user to perform another check if the suitable pressing jaw or ring was used during pressing. With this traceability, REMS fulfills the recommendations in the European standard EN 1775:2007 for the installation of press fittings for gas.
