Description

OK 67.70 is an over-alloyed rutile-acid coated electrode that deposits a weld metal of the type 23 Cr, 12 Ni, and 2.8 Mo. This alloy provides a weld metal with a ferrite content of 12-20% and is therefore very resistant to hot cracking. Application area: OK 67.70 is used for welding root passes between the stainless layer and the unalloyed material in clad steel. OK 67.70 is also suitable for joining stainless and unalloyed or low-alloyed steel.
