PTFE, Teflon, has very low friction. In fact, the lowest of all plastic materials. Additionally, PTFE has excellent resistance to acids, bases, and solvents. PTFE is UV-resistant, does not absorb moisture, and is not attacked by microorganisms. Working with foodstuff? PTFE is delivered in food-grade quality. Certification is available upon request.
