“It is important for us to service our customers in the Aarhus area as best as possible, which is why we are now building a larger and more modern store in Risskov. With the new store, we will have much better opportunities to provide good service and present our wide range of products for the professional craftsman,” says Søren Christoffersen, who is the sales director at Ahlsell.
The new Ahlsell store at Lystrupvej 46 will be over 1,000 square meters, which is significantly larger than the existing Risskov store, allowing for even more products from Ahlsell's extensive range in plumbing, consumables, personal protective equipment, and tools.
Additionally, a 100 square meter goods yard will be established in connection with the new store featuring VA products, as a special offer to local plumbers and contractors as well as others working on water and drainage projects.
“Until now, there has not been space for the often quite large VA products in our current Risskov store, so this will be a new opportunity for contractors, utility companies, and plumbers in Aarhus. Ahlsell's second store in Aarhus, our flagship store on Søren Frichs Vej, has just been expanded with a huge VA department because we wish to strengthen our position in the VA market and attract new customers among local plumbers and contractors in Aarhus and the surrounding area. They will also be able to purchase VA products in our new store in Risskov going forward,” says Søren Christoffersen.
Ahlsell has been looking for the right location for the new store in Risskov for some time.
“The address at Lystrupvej 46 is perfect. We will be located on a busy main road in Risskov with good access and parking conditions for our customers, and easy access to and from the motorway. We are looking forward to welcoming both current and new customers to the new store,” says Søren Christoffersen.
The plan is for the new Ahlsell store to open in the first quarter of 2024.
