After the summer holidays, Sanistål will open a completely new type of store in Hillerød. It will be a smaller store of only 267 square meters, where customers can pick up and return items locally. Here, customers will have access to a locally focused product range and advice.
”The store's product range will be tailored especially for plumbing installation customers and technical customers in the local area. They have missed a place where they can shop locally, return their products, and meet us face to face. And we are offering that to them now,” says director of the Plumbing Market, Andreas Borup Christensen.
He emphasizes that the store's employees will focus on guiding and helping customers save time in their daily lives by ordering products via Sanistål's web store or app, regardless of where they are and independent of opening hours.
Continuous testing of new store concept
The new store will be Sanistål's test location for the new store concept.
”We will be testing the product range, opening hours, staffing, and various digital solutions. Of course, we will also listen to customer feedback,” says sales director for the store in the East, Kennet Rosbjørn Eriksen, adding that the store will initially have the same opening hours as Sanistål's other stores.
”We know that customers want to shop locally, and now they will have the opportunity to do so in Hillerød. Both when they need to consult with us, and when they urgently need the products that our research has shown local customers primarily use,” says Kennet Rosbjørn Eriksen.
The new store concept will be reflected in the store's name, which will be revealed when the store opens.
Sanistål will take over the lease at Industrivænget 18 in Hillerød on May 1, 2022, and expects to open the doors to a new store after the summer holidays.
