International award to Sanistål

Sanistål's online solutions, which consist of the company's websites, webshop, and apps, are built in Umbraco, one of the most widely used web systems in the world with over 400,000 installations. At the annual Umbraco conference, Codegarden, Sanistål was awarded the international Umbraco Award in the category of Best Technical Solution.

Sanistål won the award together with the consulting firm Vertica, which created the solution alongside Sanistål's own developers. Regarding the background for why Sanistål and Vertica won the award, the jury states:
“The number of integrations is impressive, and the jury was surprised by how well the Umbraco solution has been integrated with other systems. The speed is fantastic, even though it is a fairly complex solution. It has been solved elegantly.”

At Sanistål, e-commerce and marketing director Claus Ejlertsen is both pleased with the award and the digital solution that has truly delivered results since it was redesigned in 2016. Customers have embraced the new digital services incredibly well, and revenue has increased by 26% within a year.
“We have a strong focus on supporting our customers with digital services that can streamline their daily routines. With the new online solutions, we bring these services directly to the customers, ensuring they have a more user-friendly and efficient experience when shopping. And precisely that good technical solution is the foundation for our ability to develop our e-commerce business so significantly over the past year,” says Claus Ejlertsen.

At Vertica, there is also great pride in having received the Umbraco award, and according to CEO and partner, Jeppe Hansen, it is no coincidence that Vertica has been awarded the prize alongside Sanistål.
