"In connection with our new ownership, we have a comprehensive integration process ahead of us. There are plenty of synergies to be tapped into and new business areas to be developed. It is a very important task, which I am glad Andreas has agreed to take on," says CEO Claudio Christensen.

Swedish Ahlsell, a leading distributor of installation products, tools, and supplies for professional users in the Nordic region, offered to take over the ownership of Sanistål earlier this year. The takeover is pending the scheduled approval from the competition authorities.

As the Director of Integration & Strategy, Andreas will be responsible for implementing Sanistål's new and future strategy, Accelerate.

“We have chosen to combine the implementation of our new strategy, Accelerate, and the integration with our new owners under Andreas to ensure that these two critical initiatives move in the same direction and complement each other. Andreas has the right skills for the task, and he has solid experience with strategic work, for example, he was responsible for the implementation of our previous strategy, Genesis,” says Claudio Christensen.

He has been brought in from within the ranks and has been with the company for more than 13 years in various managerial positions.

“There is no doubt that Sanistål is heading into an exciting time. I am proud to take on the task of ensuring that there is optimal alignment between the entire integration with our new owner and our strategic goals for the future,” says Andreas Borup Christensen.

For the past three years, he has been the director of the HVAC Market, responsible for, among other things, HVAC customers and all Sanistål stores across the country. Thus, he is already part of Sanistål's extended management team.
