New app optimizes the shopping experience for the individual user

The brand new app from Sanistål customizes menus and features according to the user's specific needs using real-time data on purchasing behavior, among other things. This sets entirely new standards for omnichannel experiences with integration of shopping and inventory management, whether the customer is at their own warehouse, on the go, or walking around in the nearest Sanistål store.

With the launch of the entirely new app, Sanistål emphasizes that the key point in the development of value-creating digital services is rooted in the users' everyday life. The new app has therefore been developed with a wide range of intelligent features, which can adapt menus and functions based on real-time data about purchasing behavior, so they match the needs present in specific work situations.

- Our new app gathers and integrates a variety of services into an intelligent user interface that adapts to each user's needs. If you are in your warehouse, you can manage stock through EasySupply, and if you are walking around a Sanistål store, you will be presented with specially selected offers based on your purchasing behavior and location, explains Digital Director Claus Ejlertsen and adds:

- In this way, the app becomes much more than just another channel where customers can buy products easily and quickly. It also makes our services even more accessible and user-tailored, so customers, regardless of their work location and situation, are always well-prepared. It is an approach to creating omnichannel experiences that focuses not only on being present where customers are, but also on being there with the solutions that meet the needs of the situation.

A wealth of individually tailored tools at your fingertips
Sanistål's new app, which uses both touch and face-ID, is designed to make the user's everyday life easier by integrating purchasing options with stock management functions linked to Sanistål's stock management solution EasySupply, which reduces the number of manual processes from 26 to just 2.

Through the integration of EasySupply in the new app, customers can use the app as a scanner for reading lists or ordering products out in the warehouse, and it is also easy to filter and choose variants in the app. Users can also select between different delivery options.

Intelligent self-service universe in the app
If you are instead in the store, the app ensures that individually targeted product recommendations, ideas for alternative products, technical information about the products, etc., are readily available. Customers can also scan their products themselves, see prices, and easily check out of the store again in the app's self-service universe.

- Our goal is to deliver the best omnichannel experience, and the new app is set to facilitate this by connecting the physical and digital experiences and effectively supporting customers' everyday lives. Regardless of where and how they interact with Sanistål, the app provides the functions that make it easier for customers to optimize their resources, explains Claus Ejlertsen.

We aim to elevate our customers' businesses
At Sanistål, efforts have been focused in recent years on developing its portfolio of digital services in close collaboration with customers, and the new app is the latest example of this. This development has especially meant that Sanistål has transformed from a traditional wholesaler into a value-creating sourcing partner for Danish industry and construction. Claus Ejlertsen elaborates:

- We want to be the best, and it is not enough just to be present on the channels where customers are. On the contrary, it is crucial that we provide the fundamental value-creating solutions that, regardless of the channel, help equip customers well. Whatever needs the customers may have, it is our clear ambition to optimize and bring value to their business.
