Optimization attracted visitors to the Hi Messe

The visitors were very interested in optimization and efficiency at the recently concluded Hi technology and industry fair in Herning. This was evident at Sanistål's stand, where the latest optimization concept, StockMaster, was presented. Guests lined up throughout the fair to learn more about the concept and to try it out. On average, there were 40 guests every hour checking out items from the automats, and in total, over 900 guests tried StockMaster during the three days of the fair.

"StockMaster was simply a hit with the fair’s visitors. They find it fun and innovative that the automats, which are usually used for candy and soda, can be utilized to create optimization in production," says Jesper Olsen Batsberg, who is the Key Account Manager at Sanistål.

StockMaster is basically industrial automats where employees can withdraw items they need for production, such as safety gear or power tools. The automats’ software automatically registers item consumption, reordering, and restocking.

Experience with the concept shows that it creates significant savings in both time and item consumption. The items are always available where they are needed, and at the same time, item consumption and losses are significantly reduced.

"When we developed the concept, our primary focus was to make items available where they were needed. The automats are set up directly in production, saving time on going to the warehouse for items like gloves or safety glasses. A significant side benefit is that you always have control over who uses what, and experiences with StockMaster show that item consumption typically decreases by 20 percent," explains Jesper Olsen Batsberg.
