EasySupply SmartButton is Sanistål's new groundbreaking IoT inventory management concept
A simple push of a button and the item is on its way. With Sanistål's new EasySupply SmartButton, it has never been easier for both tradespeople and large industrial companies to manage their inventory.
Sanistål's inventory management concept EasySupply has been a popular solution among especially Danish industrial companies looking to optimize their warehouse operations for several years. Now, Sanistål is launching a new digital development of the inventory management concept, called EasySupply SmartButton.
“We want to strengthen our leading position in the concept market. With EasySupply SmartButton, our customers gain entirely new opportunities for easy and digital reordering of their inventory items, and at the same time, it is a genuine IoT solution, of which we have high expectations for the future,” says Claudio Christensen, who is the CEO of Sanistål.
It works just incredibly well
EasySupply SmartButton works by allowing the customer to simply press an order button on the shelf edge at their warehouse, after which Sanistål ensures delivery and restocking of the items in the warehouse. This saves time for the customer and makes inventory management completely simple, and the customer never runs out of important consumables and spare parts.
At the company CRH Concrete A/S, which is Denmark's largest supplier of concrete elements, they have already had the opportunity to test EasySupply SmartButton before its launch. Since November, buttons have been installed for all 300 consumables at the company's main warehouse in Hobro.
“Our experiences have been extremely positive. We just press a button when we need to order a new batch of a product, and then Sanistål comes every Monday to restock our warehouse. It just works incredibly well, and we save a lot of time. We definitely also need to have EasySupply SmartButton at our other warehouses,” says production manager Kristian Kjær from CRH Concrete A/S in Hobro.
Also perfect for the little craftsman
EasySupply SmartButton meets the growing demand for flexibility and product availability. There is currently a high demand for tradespeople, and with the EasySupply SmartButton inventory management concept, one can easily and quickly adjust the order quantity of their goods. Continuous data collection enables ongoing optimization of the inventory. The solution is scalable and works in both large warehouses and the tradesperson's service van.
“It is an extremely flexible solution, and it is not reserved for large companies with many stock items. EasySupply SmartButton also works perfectly in the inventory of a small tradesperson, and for example, it is obvious to set up buttons in the service van or in the container at the construction site for next-day delivery of the most frequently used items,” says Claus Ejlertsen, who is the Director of Digitization and Concepts at Sanistål.
A completely new groundbreaking IoT platform
EasySupply SmartButton is the latest in a series of value-creating concepts that Sanistål has developed for its customers. It is also an IoT solution that allows customers to save time and costs by optimizing their purchasing and inventory management.
The concept of IoT (Internet of Things) is used when automating processes and creating new smarter and time-saving solutions by allowing machines and devices to communicate with each other via the internet.
