With the acquisition of Danbox, Sanistål is now strengthening its business in electrical locking and becoming a complete supplier of security solutions.
Sanistål is acquiring the company Danbox as of September 1, 2016. Danbox specializes in electronic locking, access control, and wireless remote control of doors and gates, and with this acquisition, Sanistål's customers will now have access to a complete range of security products.
“With the acquisition of Danbox, we can significantly expand our security offering, as we are adding a wide range of products and expertise that we have not had before. This makes us a complete provider of security solutions, video surveillance, and alarms, which means our customers can get everything related to security in one place,” says Hans Henrik von Platen-Hallermund, director of Construction at Sanistål.
Tino Holtz, the owner of Danbox, will become project manager at Sanistål and will be responsible for integrating Danbox’s products into the organization. He is looking forward to Danbox becoming part of Sanistål:
“Sanistål is a very strong player in the market, and I am convinced that we will grow quickly together. There will be synergy both ways. We bring something to Sanistål that they have not had before, and at the same time, we and our customers become part of an organization with strong competencies and a very broad range of products,” says Tino Holtz.
At the same time, Sanistål’s director for Construction, Hans Henrik von Platen-Hallermund, does not hide that the acquisition of Danbox means that Sanistål is strengthening a strategically important business area:
“We have great success in the security market and have multiplied our business in security several times over the past five to six years. Now we are ready to take the next step, so we can be even stronger in the future, and we will definitely achieve that with the acquisition of Danbox,” he says.
