It was Sanistål's store in Skive that won the title of Store of the Year. Thus, the Skive store performed the best among Sanistål's 46 stores in 2014.
Every year, Sanistål's 46 stores compete hard to become the store that performs the best, and hence can take home the victory as Store of the Year. This year, it was the store in Skive that won.
"The Skive store is one of the smaller stores with only three employees, but it has seen an incredible development in sales, and there are many positive stories about the store. Both the rest of Sanistål and the customers experience that the staff are incredibly dedicated," says Claus Jæger Nørbjerg, who is the sales director for Sanistål's retail organization.
The Store of the Year is selected based on a number of criteria, which are primarily key figures for revenue - both in total and per employee, as well as the store contribution per employee. Secondarily, it includes softer aspects such as the employees' sales behavior, the role of the store manager, and the store's standards.
"The goal of the award is primarily to create enthusiasm and maintain what we call the positive sales attitude. It involves everything from how the employees welcome customers to the store, how they prioritize customers at the counter, and how they advise customers. In these areas as well, the Skive store performed very well," says Claus Jæger Nørbjerg.
Among the store employees at Sanistål, it is a great honor to be the Store of the Year, and it is something they take very seriously each year. The Store of the Year celebrates the title by inviting its customers for layer cake and thanking them for the good cooperation.
